The Regal Cinema in Henley-on-Thames screens 'Concert For George' as part of their 10th Anniversary Celebrations and also to celebrate George Harrison's birthday. This special screening was made possible with the generous assistance of Olivia and Dhani Harrison who  brought a copy of the film over from America ...


The Heartstring Symphony upload some new tracks to their MySpace Profile. Dhani is credited as contributing backing vocals to their new ep. Dhani can be heard clearly on the track 'Sea Town Sky''. The tracks are all available to listen to on their myspace page.


The Radio Times Magazine (dated 31st March-6th April) lists that part 1 of a 3-part documentary called 'Ravi' is scheduled for airing at 10pm on 4th April on BBC Radio 2. The radio series is presented by Dhani Harrison.

This three-part series, narrated by Donovan Leitch (George’s son Dhani was slated to do the honours, which would have been charming, but the old Sunshine Superman is a more than adequate replacement).


The Dail Mail T.V. Magazine gives Dhani a one line mention with regard to the third part of the Radio 2 Series called 'Ravi'. It states.... "Donovan, who stepped manfully into the breech when Dhani Harrison went off the idea of presenting this series, rounds off the three-part profile with a look at Ravi Shankar's musical dynasty."


The Sunday Times' ''Rich List' announces that Olivia and Dhani Harrison are worth £160m.
Dhani was also placed 3rd in the Richest People Under 30 category.


A press Release from Warners Bros. Records announced that Dhani has teamed together with Jakob Dylan (son of Bob Dylan) on the track 'Gimme Some Truth' penned by John Lennon. Dhani and Jakob and other artists unite in donating tracks to "Instant Karma: The Amnesty International Campaign to Save Darfur," which is to be released by Warner Bros. Records on June 12 th.

Dhani attends the 1st Anniversary of Cirque Du Soleils 'Love' in the U.S. Two plaques are unveiled at The Mirage as a tribute to George Harrison and John Lennon.

In the July Issue of 'Q' magazine Dhani is quoted as saying that the track 'Within You Without You' is his favourite track on  'Sgt. Peppers Lonely Hearts Club Band'  by The Beatles.

Dhani is in Los Angeles.


Dhani returns to England

The Band 'Rooney' release their album 'Calling The World'. Dhani is credited with supplying additional vocals to the title track. Dhani is also mentioned in the 'Thank You' section in the cd notes.

Dhani's 29th Birthday.
In the evening Dhani celebrates by singing at a kareoki party.

Various news articles report on Dhani collaborating with hip-hop band Wu Tang Clan. The Wu Tang Clan have done an interpolation of the George Harrison penned Beatles' track 'While My Guitar Gently Weeps.' Their version of the track, called 'The Heart Gently Weeps' features Dhani playing a vintage 1961 Gretsch acoustic guitar and will be on their next album '8 Diagrams'  scheduled for release on November 13th. 'Calling The World' the latest album by the L.A. band 'Rooney' that features Dhani on its title track gets its U.K. release today. (See 17th July).

Dhani attends 'Good' magazines' one-year-anniversary party staged at the National Museum of the American Indian at Bowling Green, New York. U.S.A.

SRC, the record company of the Wu Tang Clan announce that the '8 Diagrams' album containing the track 'The Heart Gently Weeps' which features Dhani will now be released on 4th December instead of the original 13th November release date. (See also 14th August 2007, 4th October 2007, 23rd October, 2007).

In order to satisfy curiosity the Wu Tang Clan make the track from their upcoming album featuring Dhani Harrison 'The Heart Gently Weeps' exclusively available to listen to at Loud.com today. The track will be the first single and video from the album '8 Diagrams'  released on December 4th (See also 14th August 2007, 2nd October, 23rd October 2007)

Dhani travels to Iceland.

The George Harrison Fund for UNICEF announce that they will team up with students for 'Trick-or-Treat for UNICEF'.
The information packs provided to schools contain a DVD on which Dhani appeals on behalf of the Schools for Africa program.

The CD/DVD 'Best of Friends' by Jools Holland is released. It contains a brand new remix of the track 'Horse To The Water' with vocals provided by George Harrison. The song is credited as being co-written by George and Dhani

The release of the new Wu Tang Clan album '8 Diagrams' which features Dhani Harrison on the track 'The Heart Gently Weeps' is pushed back by one week and is rescheduled for release on 11th December so as not to clash with Ghostface's 'Big Dough Rehab', still slated for a 4th December release date.
